Thompsons of Prudhoe are happy to announce that Nick Shilling has been appointed as Managing Director with effect from 6th January, 2020. Nick joined Thompsons of Prudhoe in August 1993 as a costing clerk within the contracts department. Having achieved his qualification in HNC Civil Engineering he undertook the role of quantity surveyor in 1996. With his hard work ethic and dedicated approach to Thompsons of Prudhoe he was appointed Contracts Director in 2014. Following the early retirement of John Burdon, Nick was invited by the board of directors to undertake the role and responsibilities of Managing Director. The Board of Directors are confident that Nick will contribute to the continued success of Thompsons of Prudhoe’s future.
