HGV MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Candidates will learn to undertake services and maintenance tasks under the direct supervision of an experienced mentor – to build up an advanced knowledge of all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs, including braking systems, transmission, suspension, hydraulic systems and other auxiliary equipment.
Qualification: Level 3 Heavy vehicle service and maintenance technician
Mobile & Static Plant Apprenticeship
The candidate will learn on mobile & static plant, couple with basic maintenance, geotechnical awareness of Quarries Regulations & Inspection, which will be a true benefit to our workforce and business.
Qualification: Level 2 MPQC Diploma in Plant Extractives
DEMOLITION & PLANT OPERATIONS
Candidates will be enabled to demonstrate and recognise skills, knowledge and understanding so they can work as a Plant Operator within the construction & demolition industry. This will include learning how to operate various pieces of plant ride on roller, telescopic handler, 360 Excavator.
Qualification: Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plant Operations
WEIGHBRIDGE APPRENTICESHIP
The candidate will also understand the importance of weighbridge and the core knowledge required to work effectively combined with improved organisational and planning skills. All this linked with lessons on improved communication and engagement with colleagues and our customers will ensure this apprenticeship added value to our workforce and business.
Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Weighbridge Operations
HEAVY PLANT MAINTENANCE
Candidates will learn to undertake services and maintenance tasks under the direct supervision of a experienced mentor – to build up an advanced knowledge of diesel engine systems, heavy duty plant machinery maintenance / repairs, braking systems, transmission components, hydraulic systems. Also to work alongside major UK plant manufacturers like Komatsu & Hitachi.
