Over the Christmas period, we organised a collection for our local food bank which is situated at The Miners Lamp Café and Community Hub in Eastwood Park, Prudhoe. Our employees were very generous and donated lots of food, toiletries, pet food and small gifts which were distributed to those in need. A particular mention goes to Sharon Wenington, one of our drivers, who filled the donation box more than twice over after appealing to her friends on social media.
We also made a separate donation to the Miners Lamp community hub to help provide Christmas lunches to those in need over the festive period. We plan to continue collecting for the food bank on a regular basis over the coming year.
