On 28th April, Kay Thompson (Payroll) took part in the London Marathon, raising money for The Snowdon Trust and The British Diabetic Association. She completed the 26.2 mile race in an amazing 5 hours and 3 minutes and has so far raised over £2000 for the charities- The Snowdon Trust helps people with physical or sensory disabilities to access vocational and academic courses in the UK and The British Diabetic Association who support anyone in the UK affected by diabetes.
Kay said that it was a great experience and amazing running over Tower Bridge- the last 5 miles was hard work but the best feeling seeing the finish line. “I’m buzzing and soooo relived that it’s over!!” We at Thompsons are incredibly proud of Kay!
