We have made a solid start at this exciting 5 year project & one of the first of its kind in the country, to demolish recycle and reclaim part of Yorkshire Water’s Waste Water Treatment Works. (area shown in plan)

Our extensive experience of aggregate recycling, quarrying, aggregate production and sales, demolition, bulk earthworks and site preparation contracts all came together to secure tender success in this pioneering project. We have invested in a brand new crusher and permanent weighbridge, essential at the site for the sale of over 400,000 tonnes of high quality secondary & recycled aggregate to be generated and sold from the site. This recycled aggregate material is from the processed filter media formerly used at the site being premium quality river gravel & high specification furnace slag. This project will offer a consistent & continuous supply of secondary & recycled aggregate as a “green” alternative to virgin aggregates to help enhance the environmental & sustainability credentials of new construction projects throughout West Yorkshire.
